06 Dec Website Design: Browser Compatibility – Internet Explorer Ba…
All variations of Internet Explorer, new and old, cause huge pains in best website design companyers’ and developers’ rear ends. For whatever reason, ignorance or inability, users refuse to upgrade to modern browsers. So, what can we do to ease the pain?
We can implement Progressive Internet Explorer (PIE):
CSS PIE will help us handle a few of the CSS properties that Internet Explorer cannot render properly.
Implementing this JS file will allow internet explorer to render HTML5 tags properly.
Are you a total jerk and refuse to join this decade? You could at least install Google Chrome Frame for Internet Explorer. This will keep your interface the same, nothing will change. All that changes is when you visit a website with a specific line of code, Internet Explorer will render that page as if it were Chrome. Nothing changes on the user’s interface, though, so don’t freak out!
